Ford is extending the California Special treatment to the Mustang Mach-E for the first time, giving it a shot of west coast vibes for 2026.

As with the California Special package available on the Mustang GT — which ended up being one of our guilty pleasures over the summer — the California Special package is entirely an appearance package. Both wear blue accents on the wheels, front grille, and throughout their interiors, as well as the requisite graphics and GT/CS logos peppered throughout.

Mach-Es change things up slightly with 20-inch wheels with gloss black aero covers and GT/CS logos, plus a hood stripe instead of stripes running along the sides. Inside, the two-tone navy blue-on-black colour combo carries over, spiced up with contrasting blue-and-silver stitching and a GT/CS logo embossed in the armrest. Mechanically, the Mach-E California Special uses the same powertrain setup as the GT; we’re talking 480 horsepower, 600 pound-feet of torque, and zero-to-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. Pair it with the Performance Upgrade pack and that bumps peak torque to 700 lb-ft, and shaves two tenths of a second off the zero-to-100 sprint.

Ford hasn’t revealed Canadian pricing or exact availability just yet, but U.S. buyers can already spec their Mustang Mach-Es with the California Special package, and deliveries will begin early next year.
