We still haven’t picked our jaws up off the ground from our first taste of the Ioniq 5 N. Not only did it redefine what it means to be a “sporty” EV, it totally and completely scrambled our brains. Now, we’re in store for round two, thanks to the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N.
Hyundai says the 2026 Ioniq 6 N is built upon three key pillars: racetrack capability, everyday sports car, and corner rascal — that last one being something we especially identify with. To that end, the Ioniq 6 N shares its extra zappy powertrain with the 5 N, while fine-tuning a few key areas.

The important stuff remains unchanged. The Ioniq 6 N’s dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain still puts out 601 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque, and it still has a boost mode that gives you 641 hp for 10 seconds. Hyundai also claims the Ioniq 6 N does the zero-to-100 km/h sprint in 3.2 seconds — two-tenths sooner than the 5 N.
Now for what’s different. Hyundai says it tweaked the N e-Shift system — the party trick that mimics the soundtrack and shifting sensations of an internal-combustion powertrain — for even better sound quality. It also rolls on 20-inch wheels and 275-section Pirelli P-Zero 5 summer tires developed specifically for the Ioniq 6 N. Finally, Hyundai fussed with the suspension and chassis calibration; the 6 N’s adaptive dampers now have integrated stroke sensors, which can better adjust how much damping force is needed based how hard you’re pushing it.

Visually, the Ioniq 6 N wears the requisite dress-up befitting of the badge. The fenders are wider, the front and rear fascias more aggressive, and there’s a big wing on the trunk. Inside, the Ioniq 6 N wears N logos and powder blue accents throughout, as well as the same posterior-hugging sport seats as the Ioniq 5 N.
Full specs, availability, and Canadian pricing are still under wraps. Given the Ioniq 5 N comes in around the $80,000 mark, expect the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N around that price point, too.
