The LC 500 is very much an “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” kind of car. Lexus recognizes this, so instead of mucking about with the good stuff, they’re bringing back some customization options for 2026.
Let’s start with the coupe. For 2026, the Inspiration Series package returns to the fixed-roof LC 500. It packs some new visual punch in the form of a new exterior colour, Smoke Matte Gray, accented by the usual bits included with the Inspiration Series trimmings. Look for 21-inch split five-spoke forged wheels in matte black, a carbon fibre roof and fixed rear spoiler, blacked-out exterior bits, canards on the front bumper, and much more inside and out.
As for the droptop — which is the one you should get, anyway — the Bespoke Build package returns to the LC 500 convertible for 2026. It retains the same options and customization flexibility as before, letting you mix-and-match various wheel, roof, and spoiler options with various interior and exterior colour combos.
The Inspiration Series also returns to the LC ragtop. It sees the same upgrades as the coupe and also debuts a new exterior colour called Wind, as well as a new two-tone white-and-saddle-brown interior colourway and a silver-brown convertible top to compliment it.
Fortunately, the rest of the LC 500 remains unchanged for 2026. That delicious, Yamaha-tuned V8 still breathes freely, still puts out 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque, and you’ll probably still get goosebumps every time you chase the redline.
Lexus hasn’t announced exact pricing and an on-sale date for the 2026 LC, but says we’ll see them “soon.”
