Chevrolet has unveiled its the 2016 Spark at this year’s New York International AutoShow.
The new Spark has a slightly longer wheelbase and is 1.6 inches lower than the current model in order to reduce aerodynamic drag.
Inside, Chevrolet has introduced higher-quality fabrics as well as higher-density foam seating to enhance comfort and durability. The Spark also features an all-new MyLink radio which has an easy-to-use icon-based interface similar to that of smartphones.
Looking sleeker than ever, the subcompact hatch is powered by a 1.4-litre Ecotec engine, delivering about 98 horsepower. It can be equipped with an array of safety features including Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warming, Side Blind Spot Alert and rear parking sensors. Ten air bags and a rear-vision camera system also comes standard on every 2016 Spark.
The 2015 New York International AutoShow runs April 3-12.
