Chrysler has decided to bring back the Pacifica, this time in the form as a minivan. What started off as a mid-size SUV/CUV, has transformed into Chrysler’s latest vehicle in the minivan segment- the segment that started it all for Chrysler.
Being fully reborn from the ground up allows The Chrysler Pacifica Minivan to excel at reducing noise, vibration and harshness. Its body structure is the lightest and stiffest in its class, improving road handling. A focus on aerodynamics reduces the fuel consumption for the Pacifica as well. The Pacifica comes loaded with a number of the latest safety tech to help live up to the safety standards of its buyers, including forward collision prevention, adaptive cruise control and lane/park assist.
The new Pacifica is set to debut with two powertrain choices: Hybrid or V-6. With the Hybrid, Chrysler aims to be the first in offering an electrified minivan. An estimated range of 30 miles solely on electric power will help it reach 80 MPGe in the city and even more on the highway. The V-6 will deliver 287HP and 262lb.-ft. of Torque from its 3.6 Liter V-6, plenty of power to haul everything.
The Pacifica Minivan has an array of features perfect for modern families of all sizes. Boasting the largest interior volume in this segment, with seating up to 8 or the ability to hold a 9 x 4 piece of ply-wood, it is no doubt the Pacifica will be perfect for hauling both people and/or cargo. It can do all this and continue to remain stylish. Being fully redesigned keeps the Pacifica looking fresh, like a Chrysler 200 in minivan form.
