The 2016 Lexus RX made its global debut today at the New York International AutoShow.
The fourth-generation RX dons Lexus’ latest signature grille. Other exterior changes include blacked-out C-pillars and new L-shaped LED taillights which wrap around the vehicle’s side.
Improvements to the interior include more leg room for backseat passengers thanks to a lengthened wheelbase, as well as optional laser-cut wood ornamentation. Twin 11.6-inch screens are also attached to the back of the front headrests as part of the crossover’s entertainment system.
Under the RX 350’s hood is a direct injected 3.5-liter V6, while the RX 450h carries an Atkinson-cycle 3.5-liter V6 engine. Both are expected to deliver around 300 horsepower.
The 2015 New York International AutoShow runs April 3-12.
