The curtains have dropped: the much-anticipated 2016 Cadillac CT6 has made its grand reveal today at the New York International AutoShow.
The sedan’s interior is nothing short of luxurious. Its leather-trimmed front seats are equipped with five massage functions, a quadzone climate control system, a 34-speaker Bose sound system and reclining rear seats. Plus, if equipped with an optional Articulating Rear Seat package, the rear seats have approximately 3.3 inches of adjustable seat travel, feature cooling and heating functions and also have an armrest with media controls.
The five-seater is the first full-production Caddy to use a rear-view mirror that is completely digital. The CT6 also has Enhanced Night Vision, Advanced Park Assist, a wireless phone charging station and a 10.2-inch touch screen.
A rumbling 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine sits under base model’s hoods, pumping out about 265 horsepower. The CT6 is also available with one of two V6 options: a 3.6-litre producing 335 ponies and a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre engine producing 400 ponies.
All models come with a four-wheel steering system that reduces the turning radius to 37 feet and low speeds, while also improving handling on the freeway.
The 2015 New York International AutoShow runs April 3-12.
