Hyundai’s hot-selling Palisade heads into 2026 with a major redesign inside, out, and under the skin — for a mild price bump.
The new, second-generation Palisade is bigger than before. We’d hardly consider the outgoing Palisade cramped, but this new model grows by 65 millimetres in overall length and adds another 70 millimetres to its wheelbase. It also gains a completely new look inside and out, drawing heavily from the new-last-year Santa Fe, as well as updated tech and two new powertrains. So, let’s go for a walk — a trim walk.

Pricing for the 2026 Palisade kicks off at $53,699 for the base Preferred Trend trim. Hyundai hasn’t detailed a full list of standard bells-and-whistles, but standard niceties on the base Palisade include a laminated windshield and front glass, a dual-screen infotainment-and-digital-gauge-cluster setup with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rear bench seat.
The next step up in the second-gen Palisade lineup is the new-for-2026 XRT Pro trim. For $57,799 off-road-oriented model goes beyond the off-road-oriented cosplay by throwing in some extra capability into the mix, including a locking limited-slip rear differential, all-terrain tires, and extra ground clearance — in addition to the requisite off-road-ready dress-up, as well as off-road-focused terrain drive modes.

Both the Preferred Trend and XRT Pro come standard with a 3.5-litre normally aspirated V6 engine. It’s good for 287 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque, and is hooked up to an eight-speed automatic. Hyundai is targeting a 5,000-pound towing capacity, and all-wheel-drive is standard on all Paliades in Canada.
The Palisade Luxury Hybrid trim sits smack-dab in the middle of the lineup. At $60,499 to start, this is the least expensive way to get into the new hybrid powertrain. It uses a 2.5-litre turbo-four; working with the electric end, total output is 329 hp and 339 pound-feet of torque. Hyundai estimates a 4,000-pound tow capacity, a combined fuel economy rating of 7.0 L/100 km, and a total driving range of 900+ kilometres.

From there, the range-topping Palisade Ultimate Calligraphy caps off the lineup. The fanciest Palisade with the V6 will set you back $62,499, and $65,699 for the hybrid. Destination is an extra $2,100 on top of the Palisade’s MSRP.
Count on seeing gas-powered variants of the 2026 Hyundai Palisade in dealers later this summer, followed by the hybrids in fall.
