Chrysler — arguably the most prolific proponent of the minivan — is updating the Pacifica for 2027.

The teasers, which the automaker shared across its socials today, show a restyled front end grafted onto its overall-familiar body. Chrysler has yet to show off the rear end, but we can pick out a new set of wheels as well — at least for the top-spec Pinnacle trim. and hasn’t announced any further powertrain details aside from the recent news that its PHEV powertarins have been discontinued, leaving only the gas-fed V6.

The new front end is much more angular than before, now with a pair of stacked headlights connected by a slim grille with a light bar and the company’s new logo. The lower air intake is redesigned as well; perhaps we need to see it in the flesh, but we can’t help but pick out an ever-so-slight Kia-ness to the new front fascia. Chrysler is keeping the rest of the 2027 Pacifica under wraps, but it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect some interior tweaks as well, however subtle they may be.

Powertrains are anyone’s guess — the automaker recently axed its PHEVs, leaving only the Pentastar V6 in the case of the outgoing Pacifica’s case. Carrying it over would be the easy and most cost-effective choice, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see Cherokee’s hybrid powertrain underneath as a proper answer to the Kia Carnival and Toyota Sienna.

Either way, we’ll know more soon.
