While were recently in Prince Edward Country to sample the updated 2026 Volvo XC60, there was also a shiny new 2026 Volvo EX30 Cross Country on hand for us to ogle, and now you can ogle it too.

The upcoming EX30 CrossCountry will be positioned as the top model in the EX30 lineup, with twin electric motors producing 422 horsepower and 400 foot-pounds of torque. It features a ride height raised by 19 millimetres (now up to 7.5 inches of ground clearance), 19-inch “Blackout” wheels, a front skid plate with a front “grille” shield with embedded topography, fender flares, plus a rear skid plate and shield between the taillights, as well. As of this writing, no hard decisions have been made on tires for the Canadian market just yet.

The cargo basket is an option I’d expect most buyers to tick; I’m not normally a fan of the look but it suits the tough little EX30 so nicely.

Pricing info is currently under embargo, but rest assured it is competitive – will update this post once that embargo is lifted on October 16. In the meantime, enjoy these teaser pics of the 2026 Volvo EX30 CrossCountry, which goes way harder than I expected. I was already a fan of this littlest Volvo, and it wears its new Wellies rather well.
