The new 2017 Subaru Impreza has touched down at this year’s New York Auto Show, delivering on its promise for more safety features.

The new Impreza will be available in four trim lines: the 2.0i base, Premium, Sport and Limited package. The first includes feautures such as a 6.5-inch multimedia touchscreen, 60/40-split fold-down rear seats and a security system. The Premium trim adds Subaru’s Starlink Safety and Security features, 16-inch alloy wheels and an All-Weather Package which boasts heated front seats, windshield and exterior mirrors.

Opting for the Limited Trim will give you a more luxurious ride. This trim features 17-inch machine finished alloy wheels, Steering Responsive Headlights and a six-way power driver’s seat for the ultimate driving experience. Finally, the Sport trim will sport 18-inch machine-finish alloy wheels, sport suspension  and active torque vectoring.

The new and improved Impreza features a FB 4-cylinder, fuel-injected Subaru Boxer engine, with an output of 152 horsepower (a increase of four ponies compared to the previous model). The highline trims comes with a Lineartronic CVT, which features a 7-speed manual mode with paddle shifters.

Inside, Subaru has stepped it up a notch by introducing the awesome Apple CarPLay and Android Auto, as well as a host of new driver-assist technology. The EyeSight Driver Assist Technology package comes with Blind Spot Warning Detection, Sway Warning, Automatic Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Departure and a few more nifty safety technologies.

The four-door sedan will be arriving in showrooms later this year.
