Meaner, tougher and stronger: those are the words that comes to mind when looking at the 2016 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew, which had its Canadian unveiling at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto.
Catering to consumer demands for a stronger truck with more room for both people and gear, Ford has delivered. This four-door pickup boasts a 3.5-litre EcoBoost engine matched to a 10-speed transmission.
Much to the rear passengers’ delight, the 2016 F-150 Raptor SuperCrew has more legroom and is 12 inches longer than the standard Raptor SuperCab’s wheelbase, which is 133 inches.
This guy also features its first-ever dual exhaust and brand new 17-inch wheels with next-generation FGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires specifically designed to withstand all that off-roading. Speaking of off-roading, the Raptor SuperCrew’s rear shock canisters have from from 2.5 inches to 3 inches in diameter for improved performance.
