The 2015 Lexus RC-F has made its Canadian premiere at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto.
Rumbling under this sleek orange hood is a redesigned 467 horsepower high-performance 5.0-litre V-8 engine. Other special features include titanium valves, forged connecting rods, an air-cooled oil cooler and an optimized exhaust layout.
But, oh the exterior: if looks could kill, the black-mesh grille would have slain the whole town. Looking closely at the signature Lexus spindle grille reveals the “F” motif repeated in the mesh pattern. Besides the beastly grille, the exterior is also fitted with wider wheels and tires, air scoops, an active rear wing, cooling ducts and carbon fibre body features.
The specifically-designed interior is equipped with generous seat position adjustment range to conform to the occupants’ bodies.
In terms of tech, the vehicle has four driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport S and Sport S+. The sedan’s speedometer also illuminates as soon as the driver’s door opens, and flashes when the door closes, begging to be started.
