BMW has confirmed that they will not give the world the opportunity to own an M4 ‘Gran Coupe’. Unlike its brother the M6 which did receive the Gran Coupe treatment.
Besides being slightly irrelevant, as this car would be nearly identical to the M3 in everything but styling. BMW feels there wouldn’t be a need for it. Also, the current 4 Series Gran Coupe is manufactured in a separate factory from where the 3 Series and 4 Series, which would make production of an M4 GranCoupe very difficult.
Have no fear, the all new M3 Sedan and Convertible as well as the M4 Coupe and Convertible will available, thus giving buyers a variety of 3 Series and 4 Series options.
