The new Jeep Renegade could be coming to North America before you know it. It was revealed last month at the Geneva Motor Show and was expected to arrive in North America in early 2015. New reports claim the Renegade will be released for North American sales by the end of this year.

The Renegade will be replacing the Compass and Patriot SUVs from the Jeep lineup. Fiat’s 1.4-litre turbo-four good for 160 horsepower will power the baby Jeep and Chrysler’s Tigershark 2.4-litre four-cylinder pushing out 184 horsepower will be an optional engine.

Power will be sent to the front wheels, but like any Jeep, a Trailhawk model will also be available to purchase. Although pricing has not been revealed, the Renegade is rumoured to come with a price tag starting around $18,000 in the U.S.
