After a leak, Peugeot has released the official photos of its all new 2014 Peugeot 308 hatchback, much earlier than the anticipated September debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.  This could be the car to pull Peugeot out of its financial crisis.

The 2nd generation 208 is 167″ long and 57″ tall and incorporates the floating grille and angular headlights that can be found on the 2008 crossover.  The rear hatch is more upright, giving it a profile similar to the 7th generation Volkswagen Golf.  It also has a futuristic interior with a simple dashboard design composed of a TFT screen surrounded by 2 analog gauges and a 9.7″ touch screen that allows passengers to easily access the infotainment system.  The 308 is the most technological advanced 300-series Peugeot has ever produced.
