Palatov & Sector 111 Developing 816-Kg, 430-hp V8 Sports Car

Palatov & Sector 111 Developing 816-Kg, 430-hp V8 Sports CarThe makers of the ridiculous BAC Mono partner up with Palatov Motorsports and are about to blow our minds with a 816-Kg 430-HP V8 sports car.

Remember the BAC Mono? Yea, that’s the 2.3 liter, 285 hp 4 cylinder engine car (and I mean “car” in the loosest of terms here). The one that we saw ripping apart Clarkson’s face on Top Gear (check out the stig’s lap in the Mono here). Well, as it turns out, the makers of the Mono; a company by the name of Sector 111 and another company by the name of Palatov Motorsports are working on a new vehicle. This time with a V8 engine putting out 430-horsepower, out of a 816 Kg car (that just 1,800 pounds)! I’m getting a feeling that the 0-60 times might be in the negatives.

The car to be based on the platform of the Palatov D2, has been codenamed the Dragon by Palatov and Sector 111. There isn’t much else in terms of details but I think we can all use our imaginations on this one… what do you get when you put 430-Horsepower engine in a 816 kg vehicle? Certain adjectives come to mind; beast, rocket, etc. Check back frequently for the next updates on this crazy project.
