Already ubiquitous with rarity and prestige, it seems that Ferrari couldn’t resist pushing the envelope a little further with its latest last-word-in-luxury. After releasing its latest supercar (the V12 hybrid-powered 950-horsepower LaFerrari) back in March, Farrari is upping the exclusivity of their models once again.
Following their announcement that only 499 of the current model will be built, Ferrari has now said that a lighter, more raw version of the LaFerrari is currently in the works, and they only plan to run 10 of these.
With prices estimated to be between $4.5 million and $7.5 million, Ferrari says that the reduced curb weight of 2,200 pounds down from 2,766 pounds in the current LaFerrari model is not all buyers can expect. Alterations to the exterior, including some “especially beautiful,” design proposals have been saved for this new and no doubt highly sought-after piece of supercar history.
