McLaren P1 Sold OutThe McLaren P1 is a beast of a supercar with it's 900+ HP output from it's hybrid engine. Unfortunately, if you wanted to get your hands on one, you're out of luck.
If you’ve kept up at all with the hypercar world lately then you’ve heard of the McLaren P1 hybrid supercar. The P1 which is a plug-in hybrid features a 3.8 L twin-turbocharged v8 engine putting out 727 Horsepower coupled with a 176 Horsepower electric motor putting out a whopping 903 Horsepower at the rear wheels. All this is put together in a 1.4 tonne vehicle and powered through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The result? Mind-boggling performance (TopGear can vouch for that).
All this comes at a price of just $1.15 million. What a deal! But wait up, before you run out to grab your very own P1, you may have run out of your chance to purchase this beast of a car. TopGear has reported that all 375 P1’s have already been spoken for, just months after it’s release at the Geneva Motor Show. Disappointed that you may have missed your chance? Don’t worry, there’s still the Ferrari LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 hybrid supercars up for grabs. But to be honest, maybe it’s just me, the styling of the LaFerrari or the 918 doesn’t come close to the automotive art that is the McLaren P1!
