The Gran Sport comes to lifeWill this level Maserati with its competitors?
The Maserati GranTurismo stands alone from other sports cars as it comes in at a length of 192″, not including the extra length between its wheels. While that might add more leg room and storage space, its not a sought-after feature with these cars but rather proper proportions and driving-feel.
Thus, it is no surprise that Maserati is working on a smaller version of its sports car to be ready in approximately 3 years. The smaller model will be dubbed the Gran Sport while a larger model will still be named the GranTurismo (in coupe form) and the GranCabrio (in convertible form). The V6 engine is a standard while the V8 could be a possible option.
