Second largest German city wants to be car and traffic free in twenty years!

Germany is known for a lot of cars and automakers. Cities are always pushing for people to use public transit, but Hamburg has taken it to the next level and wants to ban all cars. In 20 years, the city of Hamburg wants to make cars and traffic in the city center obsolete.

 

Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany, which means there are a lot of cars in the area. Because of the ban, people will be forced to take transit, walk, or even ride a bicycle. Hamburg wants cars banned by 2034, so something may change between now and then!
