Polyphony doesn't want to repeat the delays of their last GT installment Sony has confirmed that gamers should expect to see GT6 sometime this year, but the suspected November 28th release date still has many skeptical.
After the numerous delays of Gran Turismo 5, many fans of the racing simulator franchise aren’t holding their breath about the rumored release date of Polyphony’s sixth GT installment. Sony has confirmed that gamers should expect to see Gran Turismo 6 sometime this year, but the suspected November 28th release date still has many skeptical.
Although the franchise has taken significant heat from fans since the issues surrounding the GT5 release dates, many feel that the real deciding factor will be the timing of the Playstation 4. Also scheduled to appear later this year, the Playstation 4 will no doubt be a significant factor in Polyphony’s decision to either try and knock out one last big PS3 title, or whether to save GT6 for the next generation of the Playstation console.
Though a lot of the final decisions will come down to both production and what the PS4 has to offer, gamers are still hoping to catch a glimpse of GT6 at this year’s E3.
