A six-figure car can be a mans best friendbut this unfortunate owners luxury car became a chew toy by mans best friend.
A proud Aston Martin owner was left speechless when he found out that his pet dog chewed his beautiful Aston Martin DB9. Royston Grimstead, could not believe what he saw when his border collie/spaniel mix had made a chew toy of his six-figure car. Luce, the dog, had chewed away the fibreglass panel above the front wheel arch.
“I came home and saw her covered in white stuff and I thought she had got a bird and it was feathers – but it was the fibreglass from the car,” Grimstead said.
The total damage of the car adds up to about $5,400, and he has only purchased the car less than a year and a half ago. Since the incident, Grimstead has parted with Luce, and gave him away. He said it wasn’t just because of the car but the dog had other behavioral issues and did not get along well with is other dog. Thankfully for Grimstead, his Aston Martin DB9 was insured against the damage.
