The Gran Lusso seems destined to hit productionIs this concept car going to get the green light?
BMW has released 3 teaser photos of the Gran Lusso Coupé concept that is debuting at the Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance later this month. The 4-seater, 2-door model was designed with the assistance of Pininfarina and is based on the flagship 7-series sedan – a model type that has long been missing from the BMW lineup.
While precise technical specs have yet to be released, BMW states that the car will be powered by a V12 engine – most likely the same one powering the 7-series.
While BMW has been unveiling a new concept car every year at the Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance for the past 5 years, none have actually made it to production. This model however could be the new flagship coupe destined to rival the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class.
