The 2015 Chrysler 200 has better mileage than the previous-generation and will roll into dealerships later this spring.
The 2015 Chrysler 200 has had some mysteries about the redesigned model like the fuel economy. The EPA has released the official mileage ratings for all of the configurations of the midsized sedan.
When the car holds the 184 horsepower, 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine, the Chrysler 200 is good for about 9.7 km per litre in the city and 15.3 km/l for highway driving. The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6, 295 horsepower engine is good for an estimated 8.0/13.6 km/l on the front-wheel drive option whereas the all-wheel-drive form is 7.6/12.3 km/l.
The 2015 Chrysler 200s all have a nine-speed automatic transmission and the all-wheel-drive models benefit from a rear axle that can disconnect to save fuel when the extra traction is not needed. The car comes with a price tag starting at $22,695 and will roll into dealerships in late spring.
