Acura has confirmed the new TLX and will be debuting at the New York Auto Show.
Acura announced today that the TLX will be officially revealed at this year’s New York Auto Show. The automaker debuted a concept TLX at the Detroit Auto Show, but now the company has decided to turn it into a production model.
The first engine is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic and will be paired with the 2.4-litre four cylinder and the second is a 3.5-litre V6 mated to a nine-speed automatic. The front-wheel drive models will use the automakers all-wheel steering system to improve handling. The V6 model will be offered with the latest version of Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system, which claims to be 25 per cent lighter while offering improved torque vectoring.
Although more details have not been released yet, the car will officially debut on April 16 in New York.
